We were thrilled to celebrate with the future Sister Lyng from Alta. She has been called to serve a mission to Albania and leaves next week. We made soup and cinnamon rolls for the World Wide Missionary Broadcast. Thanks to Sister Sister Brostrom and Sister Lemon. ….and Thursday we traveled to Fredrikstad for their district meeting! Someone sent Sister Baud a life-sized flat Stanley. He joined us for the picture!
We have had a busy month! It started on new Years Day with some of the local missionaries joining us for the afternoon. We ate Cafe Rio Mexican food and we played a few games. We love the opportunity to have the missionaries in our home. It was a great day! Blog alert…I may add a few more pictures later….
We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas in Norway! We were hoping it would be white but the snow did not fall. We enjoyed dinner with the Lemons and Brostroms on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning we helped to make breakfast for the missionaries serving in and around Oslo.
God Jul from Norway! Best wishes for a truly magical Christmas Season! We are treasuring each sweet moment with our wonderful missionaries. We have been serving for 6 months today! This will be our first Christmas without our precious children, but instead we have 101 missionaries to care for and love. It is a sacred privilege to serve with them….
Saturday night we flew to Ålesund. We were excited to see our two wonderful sisters and some great members. We want to visit again when we have more time and when the sun is out.
On Saturday we met with these 2 great zones in Oslo. What a great way to finish of a wonderful week. It was wonderful to be able to see all the missionaries and deliver a package with Christmas cards and a Christmas program for each companionship for their Christmas Eve celebration. We also delivered some My Family booklets.
We were in Stavanger on Thursday December 17th. We had another great day together!!
Our Nord Zone December Zone Conference was held on December 16th in Trondheim. We had a great day teaching, learning, sharing talents and of course eating together!
