As always, thank you for the beautiful pictures – of our children, of the people, of the land. It gives us such a good taste of life in Norway and what our missionary’s life is like. The picture at the end is dear to me – with Elder Applegate, Elder Hanson, Elder Wakefield, and Sister Horgmo looking so sad. The end of their mission is so close – 11 days!! I am excited to have my son home, but I know he has such mixed feelings. He has absolutely LOVED his mission and will miss the people there soooo much!! A big thanks to you and President for taking them in and loving them like your own – for watching over them and guiding them and teaching them. We love you so much!! <3 <3
Amen! Thank you President and Sister Hill. Eldste Wakefield has been in great hands. Happy to see these young men soon. I’ve shifted from counting days to counting hours – 190 hours.
Welp, these recent posts have me a little emotional, for numerous reasons. We are approaching the end of a very wonderful chapter, in our lives, and the life of our elder. We have been so grateful that he was in your care – and so grateful to feel your love and concern through the miles. Wishing you all the best as this chapter in your life comes to a close as well.
