We welcomed 2018 by inviting the missionaries from Drammen, Sandvika, Oslo, and Romerike to the mission home. They enjoyed our version of Cafe Rio salads and played games. We introduced them to “Charlie,” a simple game our family has played for years. It was a wonderful day of food and fun!

Pictionary….Elder Applegate is a wonderful musician. The category was “church hymns” and the song was “I Stand All Amazed.” Sister Richards is also a wonderful musician and guessed it correctly within a few seconds….The rest of us were AMAZED at their quick thinking!

Welcome to Norway!
We were thrilled to welcome this group of wonderful missionaries on January 2nd. Because of the winter holidays they spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years in the MTC….7 weeks! Needless to say, they were so excited to finally be in Norway!
Elder Ashby has been serving in the office with us for 6 months! It looks like we totally wore him out!

We dropped them at the train station. They took the FLYTOGET to the airport with the assistants…. 24 hours after arriving in Norway they were back at the airport and off to their first areas!
