Does this look familiar? This beautiful bronze bas relief is a replica of the Handcart Pioneers Monument on Temple Square The original was sculpted by Torleif Knaphus, a convert from Norway who immigrated to Utah. The replica sits in Knaphus, Norway, about 40 miles from Haugesund. There is a plaque next to the Shell Gas Station to honor his memory.

What a blessing it was to be with the sisters as they taught this sweet investigator. A wonderful end to an awesome day in beautiful Norway…(The beautiful needle point at the top of the page was made by his wife many years ago)
