Harstad/Narvik

April 11, 2016Søster Hill3 comments

We spent Saturday and Sunday in Harstad and Narvik. We were lucky to have picture perfect weather on Saturday. We loved seeing the surrounding area and we were able to meet many of the members. We also spent time with our missionaries which is always a treat. We look forward to visiting this part of the country again. I had trouble choosing just a few pictures…sorry about the overload. Most of these photos were taken out the window of a moving car 🙂

This is the view of Narvik from a members deck. It was amazing. The barges are loaded with iron/ore from Sweden and taken out through the fjord to the ocean and beyond. The Germans occupied Narvik during WW11 because they wanted to control the iron/ore.

Beautiful pictures of Narvik Harstag, Soster Hill. It was neat to see a picture of the members that live there.
