A snowy farewell…

March 3, 2016Søster Hill2 comments

We spent Wednesday evening celebrating a job well done with this great group of missionaries. We knew them at the MTC when we served there, and we have grown to love them as we have served together  in Norway! Elder Parkinson served as one of our Assistants and was one of the first smily faces that we saw at the airport when we arrive in Norway. The picture of Elder Duncan and Elder Parkinson standing outside the security gate at the airport is one I will never forget. He has been a marvelous missionary and we will miss him! We love these sisters and their wonderful personalities. I laughed until I cried last night as they shared some funny mission experiences. Wow, it was hard to hug them and send them off at the airport this morning! Ha det bra!

Elder Parkinson wanted to drive the mission van one last time. He put a lot of miles on this car. He was in the office almost 5 transfers.

As excited as we all are to have our missionaries home, we know you will miss them and they will miss you. Thank you, so very much, for taking care of them so well so they could serve the Lord.
